This privacy policy governs your use of the blog “The Gangster of L’Oeuf” (“Blog”) that was created by Jacob P. Silvia. The Blog is a weblog that includes media reviews, technology tips, takes on newsworthy events, as well as personal insights on events impacting the life of the author.

The Blog obtains the information you provide when you post a comment. Registration is optional. However, please keep in mind that you may not be able to communicate effectively with the author or other contributors and readers of the Blog if you do not provide a means to contact yourself.

  • to advertisers and third party advertising networks and analytics companies as described in the section below


Automatic Data Collection and Advertising

We may work with analytics companies to help us understand how the Blog is being used, such as the frequency and duration of usage. We also may work with advertising companies for the same reason to determine the best advertisements to display on the blog. Displaying advertisements helps keep the cost of operating the Blog down. We use Google Analytics and Blogger for analytics, and Google AdWords and Amazon Affiliates for advertising.


Opt Out Rights

There are no requirements to register to post comments to this blog, nor are there requirements to comment. My Blog respects your browser’s and your device’s privacy settings. As such, the Blog has nothing to opt out of.


Data Retention Policy

We will retain User Provided data for as long as it is hosted on the Blog and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for as long as our collection providers host it and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like for us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Blog, please contact us via the Contact page, and we will respond to you in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required to communicate on the Blog.


Children

We do not use the Blog to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. We will delete such information from our file within a reasonable time.
